A tight, clean, sound copy with minor overall wear plus some creasing on the spine plus the book is slightly shelf cocked plus some light soiling and staining on the outside paper edges and front endpaper plus some light creasing on the front cover mainly around the top right corner plus some chipping at the extreme top right front corner. The main character is certain that the 'thing' is back that has invaded his mind before. The signs are his 'sightings,' grotesque, physically agonizing visions of violent murder that seep into his brain like a toxin. Tne next morning these sightings are real murders being reported in the papers. He knows that this creature is after his friends, his students, his lover and his daughter. The police did not believe him until it twas too late and this time he knows what he must do. He waits for an unclouded night on a full moon tu use that special bluish light to turn the full powers of his own mind against the evil creature.
