CG5 - A hard cover first edition book in very good condition. Stated first edition with a sequence of numbers appearing on the copyright page with no additional printings indicated. An unread, tight, clean, sound copy in textured black paper covered boards with gold lettering on the spine with very minor overall shelf wear plus there is a remainder mark on the outside paper edges. The dust jacket shows very, very light edge wear along the spine top and bottom edges plus there is some very light rubbing overall. This one of the author's Joe Binney mystery series. Binney is in West Virginia investigating the murder of a schoolbook salesman. In the process, he becomes tangled in a web of corruption. The author has been nominated twice for the best private eye novel of the year by the Private Eye Writers of America and has also been nominated for the annual award for the best mystery by the British Crime Writers Association.
