CC6 - A hard cover first edition withdrawn ex-library book in good+ condition. Stated first edition with a sequence of numbers appearing on back of the title page with the "1" present and no additional printings indicated. A tight, clean, sound copy in brown paper covered boards with silver lettering and graphics on the spine with minor overall shelf wear mainly in the form of some light fading along the top board edges plus there is a very, very light bump on the front top left corner plus there is some very light tape stainint on the outside boards surfaces and front and back free endpapers from where the dust jacket was taped to the boards plus there are the usual library stamps, labels, and pocket on the top and bottom outside paper edges, front and back free endpapers, title page, copyright page, and last page. The dust jacket shows minor overall shelf wear mainly in the form of some very, very light fading along the spine plus there is some very, very light edge wear along the top edges of the front and back endfoaps and top spine edge. A comic novel that is a mix of 20th century soap opera, Greek tragedy, and Shakespearian drama about a rather ordinary king on a rather ordinary planet who fumbles and struggles to carry out his mission and fulfill his destiny.
