BZ4 - DJ is mylar protected. A hard cover first edition book in good+ condition. No additional printings are indicated on the copyright page. A tight, clean, sound copy in black paper covered boards quarter bound in black cloth with silver lettering on the spine with minor overall shelf wear with foxing of the outside paper edges plus there is some light yellowing and scattered very light foxing on the front and back endpapers plus there is a label stain (about 0.75"x0.75") at the top right corner of the front free endpaper. The dust jacket shows minor overall shelf wear with a series of small (about 0.25") closed tears punched along the front spine edge at about 1" intervals plus there is some light scattered rubbing plus there is some very, very ligth edge wear along the top and bottom edges plus there is heavy foxing of the inside surface. This is a book based on Robert Snyder's films "The World of Buckminster Fuller" and "Primer of the Universe." They use stills and text from the films as well as from Fuller family photographs and letters and the Fuller archives to capture the nature of Buckminster Fuller as he describes his life and its shaping of his outlook as well as hie work as an architect, author, designer, cosmogonist, scientist, inventor, and philosopher. Heavily illustrated with black and white photographs and line drawings. 218p. SCW11121
