An unread, tight, clean, sound copy in light vinyl covered boards with gold graphics on the front and gold and silver lettering on the spine with minor overall shelf wear mainly in the form of light edge wear around the spine top and bottom edges and the bottom right corners plus some very light soiling of the top outside paper edges. The dust jacket shows minor overall shelf wear in the form of some light soiling overall that is most noticable on the spine plus some light edge wear overall. A Family Bookshelf Edition. This book was produced to mark the 150th anniversary of Jenny Lind's birth. This is the story of her tour of America in 1850-52. P. T. Barnum was the impressario who promoted the tour using his penchant for publicity. It was on this tour that she married her accompanist.
