A tight, clean, sound copy in textured navy paper covered boards with gold lettering and graphics on the spine with very minor overall shelf wear plus a very light bump to the back top right corner plus some very light soiling of the top outside paper edges. The dust jacket shows minor overall shelf wear mainly in the form of some very light edge wear to the top and bottom edges plus some light creasing along the top edge of the front plus there are two closed tears (about 0.25") on the front top edge. A book about one of the most decisive points in 20th century history. By the end of June 1940 Western Europe was overrun by the Germans and Nazi leaders tried to destroy the RAF Fighter Command in preparation to invade England. The Germans began the air battle with superior forces but four months later the Battle of Britain was over and England remained free. this book provides vivid descriptions of air combat and explains how both sides developed their air forces before the war and then deployed them during it. This book analyses the results achieved by the use of the various weapons of the Falklands conflict between Great Britain and Argentina. Illustrated with black and white photographs.
