BX1 - A hard cover first edition withdrawn ex-library book in good+ condition with a dust jacket in good+ to very good- condition. Stated first printing with no additional printings indicated on the copyright page. A tight, clean, sound copy in textured black paper covered boards with silver lettering and graphics on the spine with minor overall shelf wear with glue staining on the front and back fixed endpapers from where the dust jacket endflaps were glued to the boards plus there are the usual library stamps, marks, label, and pockdt on the top and bottom outside paper edges, the front free endpaper, the title page, and the copyright page plus there is some very light yellowing of the right and bottom outside paper edges plus there is a very, very light bump to the top right corner of the front board plus there is some very light fading of the tinting on the top outside paper edges. The dust jacket shows minor overall shelf wear with some glue staining on the front and back endflaps from where they were glued to the fixed endpapers plus there is some very, very light edge wear along the top and bottom spine edges and the corners of the front and back endflaps plus there is a small closed tear (about 0l.25") on the top edge of the front endflap plus there is some very slight, scattered rubbing and creasing. A collection of twenty-one short stories catagorized in to these major themes: "Worlds of Tomorrow," "Aliens, on Earth and Elsewhere," "Other Dimensions," "Mutants and Monsters," Marvelous inventions," and "The Mysterious Universe." 384p. SCW13403
