CF1 - A tight, clean, sound copy in white cloth covered boards with minor overall shelf wear with tape staining on the outside surfaces of the front and back boards and the front and back free endpapers from where the dust jacket was taped to the boards plus there are the usual library stamps and pocket on the top and bottom outside paper edges, the front free endpaper, the title page, and the acknowledgments page. The dust jacket shows minor overall shelf wear with some light scattered rubbing and soiling plus there is a library label on the spine plus there is tape staining on the front and back endflaps from where the dust jacket was taped to the boards plus there is soem chipping on the bottom right corner of the front endflap plus there is a long closed tear (about 4") on the back endflap plus it is still in the original library mylar sleeve. A book about fifty communities that were small towns at the time of the American Revolution and the buildings, their interiors, and the settiings the surviving ones and how they harken back to the state towns during the Revolutionary Era. Heavily illustrated with black and white photographs throughout. Location of places named in text, 353p. SCW10503
