A tight, clean, sound copy with very minor overall shelf wear with some very light scattered soiling on the cloth plus the book is slightly shelf cocked plus there is some very light yellowing and soiling on the right and bottom outside paper edges. The dust jacket shows heavy wear with heavy chipping along the top edges and the bottom spine edge plus there are scattered closed tears from about 0.25" to 0.5" along the top and bottom edges plus there is some scattered heavy rubbing mostly along the spine edges and the right edge of the front plus there is some light overall soiling on the back plus there is some yellowing along the outside edges of the front and back endflaps. The word PUBLISHED and the year appear on the copyright page plus the same date appears on back of the title page with no additional printings indicated. Translated and edited by Leonard Shatzkin. A memoir of the author's experiences in the Warsaw Ghetto during the Nazi German Occupation of Poland.
