In 1897 a girl was discovered dead in her home, apparently of natural causes. Some weeks after her burial, her ghost appeared at the bedside of her mother and informed her that she had been murdered. The body was exhumed, the case reopened, and ultimately her husband was convicted of murder and sentenced to life imprisonment. The author set out to discover what actually happened in theis often-chronicled murder case of ninety years ago. This is a vivid tale of a murder, in inquest, a trial, a conviction and their impact upon the residents of a community. 191p. SCW01025

B4 - An NTSC VHS color 50 minute ex-library video tape in good+ to very good- condition in a clamshell plastic case in very good condition with a paper sleeve in good condition. The tape is guaranteed to play without any problems. A documentary film about the war crimes trial of John Demjanjuk, a Ukrainian born Ivan Mykolaiovych Demianiuk. The accused was a retired Cleveland automechanic who was extradited from the United States to Israel to stand trial (criminal case 373/86) accused of being 'Ivan the Terrible', the supervisor of the Treblinka concentration camp. This trial is notable for becoming entangled in legal issues that were not related to the basic question of guilt or innocence. His conviction for crimes against humanity was later overturned by the Israeli Supreme Court in 1993 due to a finding of reasonable doubt because there was evidence suggesting that he had actually been a guard at camps besides the one at Treblinka, which would have made it impossible for him to have been 'Ivan the Terrible' after which he returned to the United States. In 2009 he was extradited to Germany to stand trial as an accessory to murder because of his service as a guard at the Nazi Sobibór death camp. The executive producers were Ludi Boeken, Harry Prins and Shmuel Shiloh. The producers were Katriel Schory And Gaby Rosenberg. It was co-produced by Jerusalem Capitol Studios and Belbo Films. 50 minutes. Satisfaction Guaranteed AV0014
