The Dj. is good with some chipping around the edges and a 1" by 1" triangle torn out of the bottom front edge, in a removable archival cover. Fitzgerald's rendition of the beautiful lines of Omar into English verse has stood for many years as a monument to the translator's artistry. This volume contains the first English edition, the second, and the fifth. The magnificent illustrations by Edmund Dulac contribute no little to making this book the edition of the Rubaiyat to read and own.
