Book is signed with inscription "To Mrs. Sells Best Wishes, Dorothy Vieman" by the author on the half-title page. No additional printings indicated. Joining her husband in Korea in late April, 1949, Dorothy House Vieman gives an eye-witness account of the lives, customs and habits of the Koreans. Attending the soical functions of the Military Group she met President Rhee, drank tea with his wife and became acquainted.
