I tells how she had trained from childhood to become a concert pianist but how at 19 a mysterious muscle disorder forced her to give this up. By 21 she could not grip a pen or walk across a room and she entered a world of limbo in which no one could explain what was happening to her or predict her future. At 23 she began a new life in a motorized wheelchair and made a resolution to start writing fiction. By the author of "Midnight Champagne" and "Vinegar Hill." 269p.
